Dr. Heather Coyle is setting up a national data bank that will allow law enforcement to track marijuana DNA. Dr. Coyle, who specializes in forensic botany, has developed a new method for collecting the drug's genetic fingerprint, making it easy for officers to collect the samples at crime scenes.

National Security

University of New 51¶ºÄÌ Professor and Director of the University of New 51¶ºÄÌ National Security Program and the University of New 51¶ºÄÌ Forensic Computer Investigation Program, William Tafoya Ph.D., has been selected to serve as an Academic Fellow of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies anti-terrorism training program this summer.
