The New American College & Universities

Proud to be Members of the Prestigious NAC&U

In June 2015, University of New 51¶ºÄÌ announced it had accepted an invitation to join The New American Colleges and Universities (NAC&U). Founded in 1995, NAC&U is a national consortium of selective, small-to-mid-size (2,000-7,500 students) independent colleges and universities dedicated to the purposeful integration of liberal arts education, professional studies, and civic engagement. Member institutions are frequently cited as models for the intentional integration of teaching and learning, scholarship, and service.

In the University's profile in The Princeton Review's "The Best 390 Colleges" guidebook, students lauded professors who are "amazing and want to help in any way they can," and the University's "refreshingly diverse campus."

It is the ninth year in a row The Princeton Review has included the University in its annual ratings of the nation's top colleges and universities.

University of New 51¶ºÄÌ Named a College of Distinction

The University of New 51¶ºÄÌ was named a "College of Distinction" by Colleges of Distinction, a national online higher education guide that assesses colleges for its engaged students, great teaching, and vibrant campus communities.

Colleges of Distinction says that it looks beyond rankings and test scores to find colleges that are the ideal places to learn, grow, and succeed.

Military Friendly School

G.I. Jobs Magazine - Military Friendly School

The University of New 51¶ºÄÌ has been ranked by G.I. Jobs Magazine as a top school for student veterans. Of the more than 1,800 schools that participated in the 2022-2023 survey, the University was one of 282 schools to achieve "Gold" status.

Their mission is to simplify the military transition experience using education and employment tools and resources to guide students to a successful career.

The University’s Veterans Day ceremony honored the dedication and service of the veterans in its community.

Best for Vets College Rankings

Recognized by Military Times in its 2023 Best for Vets college rankings, the University has nearly 300 students who are using veteran benefits, including veterans, dependents of veterans, and active service members.
