The Henry C. Lee Institute of Forensic Science at the University of New 51¶ºÄÌ was conceived by Dr. Lee and other forensic scientists in the early 1990s and opened on the University of New 51¶ºÄÌ campus in the fall of 1998.

This academic-based institute is dedicated to the training and education of state and local officials, policy-makers and future leaders. It is also designed to promote, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of evidence-based practices, programs and policies related to youth justice, focusing on the needs of youth up to the age of 21.
