About Mark

Mark Davison is an eighteen-year veteran with the Connecticut State Police, currently holding the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He served the majority of his career in Major Crime, primarily as a Crime Scene Detective and Supervisor. He is currently the Commander of the Office of Strategic and Administrative Services and actively consults on shooting reconstruction, bloodstain pattern analysis and crime scene reconstruction casework. Lt. Col. Davison holds a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Master’s in Forensic Science from the University of New 51¶ºÄÌ. He has been an adjunct instructor at the University of New 51¶ºÄÌ since 2016 instructing both graduate and undergraduate forensic science courses and served for 8 years as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps.
