Black Alumni Network

VISION: To foster continued service and engagement with Black alumni, to cultivate a community for social, personal, and professional development, and to enhance the Black student experience at the University of New 51¶ºÄÌ. The vision for the BAN involves three key concepts: community, engagement, and development.

  • Community – Creating a sense community amongst the network members, grow and keep in contact through various platforms
  • Engagement – Participation in campus programs, alumni events, community service events
  • Development – Career opportunities, professional development, mentoring of current students, partnerships, fundraising

University staff liaisons from key departments are integral parts of the Network to serve as resources and help to align committee and Network goals with University goals. These departments include Myatt Center, Admissions, Student Services, and Career Development.
